An accurate equation of state (EoS) is vital for high fidelity hydrodynamic simulations, required for modelling of HEDP and fusion experiments.
The robustness of FEOS has been improved through improvement on
the ion part of the QEOS model on which it relies – this has also
improved accuracy in the “warm” solid regime.
